I have written this tome to provide the inquisitive with a way to set foot upon a path leading to wisdom. I have not answered all of the questions I pose within this text, and doubt very much that any woman could in one lifetime. After the Dream, the direction of Paraceln's life changed dramatically. Whereas before he had been an active instructor, advancing his philosophy of contemplation and inner harmony, he instead withdrew to a more private existence. In his place, Shiliya stepped forward to play a decisive role in the formation of the Church of Inner Light. Paraceln's death, ultimately, appears to have fallen within the month of the Dream, exactly one hundred years later. His exceptional age - one hundred and twenty-eight years - is said to have been a testament to his devotion to the Light. While the last decades of his life were lived in extreme privacy, his death was an immense public spectacle. The Crown Prince Phillipe Komaru declared a week-long holiday, and the Church of Inner Light opened its coffers for a spectacular kingdom-wide festival in honor of their deceased Prophet. For once, all of Komaru united to remember Paraceln's Dream.
